(2018) mixed media・ film photography series

There is a river in Kyoto that is filled with ducks. That is why it is called Kamogawa.

On weekends, the delta is packed with people; couples, old, young and families. I choose to go to the delta at 3 in the morning, after drinks at the bar. They make me dazed, force me to concentrate the last of my energy looking at the moon. On most days, I track my paths with the lightest feet, the streets melt into one another, roofs after roofs, trees after trees, pupils darting aimlessly like lost ants. As I lay on my back, with  my limbs and head in contact with the cold surface, gravity blankets me in assurance.

This photograhic series has been published in Now & Again magazine's, Disappearance issue (2018).
